Ever wondered how we got our costumes together or how they were made and what from, with sustainable resources? Then this is the page to find out.

 Captain Jack Sparrow

It all began with Captain Jack Sparrow. His costume is one of the most complicated to put together.

Firstly there's the white shirt, which we've changed many times as L kept getting it dirty, with all the silly things she does. We already had the white shirts so that kept the cost down a bit.

Then comes the blue waistcoat over the shirt, L already owned this too and the buttons have tiny anchors on them. The trousers also change quite a bit depending on the weather and we all own trousers so again no cost.

The hat, two wigs and other accessories, such as the the compass, which we made ourselves from polystyrene, are bought from local shops or the internet.

 Will Turner

The disgruntled William Turner. This costume was rather simple to create and put together.

The white shirt is an old smart shirt from H's own wardrobe and the shortened trousers are also our own.

Though the waistcoat was originally a jumper we had to cut up. And it was the quickest item we had to put together.

Alice Kingsley

The dress we have for Alice was a wondrous find. After Scouring many charity shops, we discovered a cutesy little shop, and after a long time L found it stuffed among jackets and shirts.

So we had it bought for £6.99 and took it home to be amazed.
